Tea F. Price

Welcome,

Tea Francesca Price is a student pursuing both a bachelor’s degree and an accelerated master’s degree in journalism at Arizona State University’s, The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication; she has also completed a minor in Italian language.

Maintaining a position on ASU’s Dean’s List since her freshman year, Price is in the top 10% of her class and is a member of Barrett, the Honors College and of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars chapter at Arizona State University.

Aside from being a full-time student, Price works as a personal assistant in the Phoenix office of Barrett, the Honors College. In the Spring semester of 2015, she also held a co-host position of a weekly radio show, “Buongiorno, Italia,” on The Blaze1330 AM. During that time, Price collaborated with a team of students covering the homelessness issue in Phoenix. The enterprise website with samples of her work is called “rAZing hope”.

Between April 2015 and March 2016, Price pursued an in-depth report on the singular culture of Siena, Italy for her undergraduate thesis, “Becoming Bruco“. From the reporting, translating and gathering of content, to the multimedia and interactive website creation, Price did it all, in addition to historical research for an 80-page dissertation.

As of 2017, Price is working as a digital producer, reporter and podcast host for Cronkite News with Arizona PBS. She is also an associate producer of Reporting Refugees, an upcoming documentary and interactive website under the umbrella of “Balkan Bridges,” a program funded by the U.S. Department of State. This job allows Price to not only work as a digital producer and reporter, but as an assistant instructor, in both the United States and Zagreb, Croatia.

Raised in an international and musical family, Price’s love for travel and the arts was instilled at a young age; from this upbringing has stemmed the desire to work as a multimedia journalist and international correspondent, keeping both feet in Europe alongside her family and friends for an extended time.
